“He wanted
a theater, She wanted a living room”. is the title of
the article published in Audio Video Interior Magazine June
2003 issue. The challenge of this space was to create a functional
and beautiful Home Theater that featured exposed audio / video
and equipment as requested by the client, yet design the room
to be as sophisticated and graceful as the rest of the home. |

What was once a very tired and
basic looking hotel lobby is now transformed into an elegant
and inviting entrance to a boutique hotel. The use of a linear
patterned carpet with the refinement of Asian inspired items
brings the lobby to a new level sophistication and class. |

of a custom Home Theater. With all the elements of a real theater
including popcorn machine and snacks, this room still works
with the elegant style of the rest of the home with the ethnic
rug and custom wrought iron light fixtures. |

viewing requirements of a theater yet are elegant and work
with other rooms in the home. The client’s personal collection
of Pre-Columbian artifacts were displayed in Lucite frames. |
